About
I'm Reece, a Cyber Security Engineer and Red Team Operator based in the Mountain West. I maintain tha ability to support Public and Private sectors and have spent the last decade working across defensive security, DevSecOps, and offensive operations.
My current position is operating on a threat hunt team, building capabilities and ensuring our Team and customers can not only detect an attacker, but have the ability to do something about it. The team is Operational Technology (OT) focused, being one of the most desired hunt capabilites currently. On the Army side, I'm a National Guard officer commanding cyber teams across four states.
Outside of work I run a home lab (to include a Physical OT lab TBD), build hardware (ESP32 nodes, Meshtastic radios, custom IoT kit), and write about it here when I remember to. I got into computers through web dev in college, stayed for the networking, and never left.
This site
Built with SvelteKit, deployed as a static site on GitLab Pages via a CI/CD pipeline that runs Trivy container scanning on every push. The red team section is gated behind a small CTF with three challenges, client-side flag validation using the Web Crypto API. Domain through Cloudflare, email through Proton.
